TOPICS WE WILL COVER
Deciding to Divorce
In week 1 we will be acknowledging how you got here so that you can make peace with your past. Honouring and acknowledging the past is about recognising it, taking the lessons and letting the rest go.
The Divorce Process
In week 2 you’ll be introduced to the forms you will be completing, the terminology you will need to be familiar with and you’ll gain an insight into why a plan is the best possible way of getting yourself divorce ready.
Getting Organised
In week 3 we will be focusing on the paperwork that needs to be completed as part of the divorce process. We break it into manageable chunks so that you recognise when you are feeling overwhelmed.
Communication
In week 4 we will be focusing on effective communication. Effective communication is a game changer in divorce and can literally be the difference that makes the difference!
Starting Proceedings
In week 5 we’ll be focusing on the divorce petition, starting proceedings and how you can begin to bring your divorce plan together. So that when you want to you are divorce ready.
High Conflict Divorce Part 1
In week 6 you’ll learn what high conflict is, what it looks, sounds and feels like. By the end of the week, you’ll have a better understanding of whether or not you are in a high conflict situation.
High Conflict Divorce Part 2
In week 7 you’ll learn practical ways to keep yourself safe and protect yourself from an angry controlling husband.
Moving Forward
In this final week we look forward to what next steps you want to take and reflect on how far you have come. You’ll be in a position to move forward in a way that’s right for you.
You’ll need to be prepared to get messy, emotionally, safe in the knowledge that I will support you to take control.

I’m not sure I want to get divorced yet, is this the right programme for me?
I’ll let you into a secret: lots of ladies just like you aren’t sure. I’ve yet to work with a lady who flippantly decided to leave her husband. Leaving is a big decision. Leaving feels confusing, scary and a bit like a failure.
Making the right decision is important, isn’t it? You want to know that you won’t look back with regret. You want to know that leaving is better than staying, even though you know the middle bit might not be a bed of roses.
Whether you are certain that divorce is the next step for you or it’s just something you want to explore, by joining this programme, you’ll give yourself the best opportunity to manage divorce with ease.

I’m scared about getting divorced, will this programme help?
Absolutely. Get Divorce-Ready™ is designed to take the fear out of the unknown, to equip you with the knowledge, tools and strategies that will enable to take confident action.
Taking confident action will save you time, money and sanity. Week by week we will build on your knowledge, skills and confidence.
How long do I have access to the course materials?
All the workbooks are downloadable and are yours forever. Access to the Academy remains as long as you are a subscribed member.
What format is the course content delivered in?
The programme materials are shared weekly and include eight workbooks with checklists, cheat sheets and note sections. You’ll get your own login and password for the member’s area so you can access the course materials at any time. We do ask that your login is not shared, as membership is for you as an individual.
Will the programme be easy?
Divorce is never easy. This course is designed to help you be as prepared as you can be so that when times get tough, you can return to the plan you made during the course and follow it whatever your mood or emotional state. It will support you to make sound emotional and financial decisions, to respond rather than react.
How much time do I need to invest?
You’ll get out what you put in. If you invest a few hours a week, you should start to make progress. If you only dip in to the materials and miss group calls, your progress will be slower. We strongly recommend that you make time to join the weekly group call.
When does Get Divorce-Ready™ start and when does it end?
Get Divorce-Ready™ starts on Tuesday 27th September 2022. The last taught class is Tuesday 29th November 2022 and the programme officially ends on 4th February 2023.
How much does it cost?
Get Divorce-Ready™ is currently only available through the Absolute Academy. Membership from September until 4th February 2023 is made up of 4-monthly payments of £197 so the total cost is £788.00 This equates to just over £6 per day. Active Absolute Academy members please keep an eye out in the Facebook Group for the joining details.
Will my spouse find out I’m in the programme?
We do not disclose the names of any members of this programme. However, we strongly recommend that you put your safety first and ensure that only you are the only person who has access to your email account, Facebook account, web browser on either a mobile device or computer.
I am experiencing domestic abuse, is it safe for me to join this programme?
The Get Divorce-Ready™ programme is designed to support women who are NOT experiencing domestic abuse (emotional, physical, psychological or financial).
Therefore, please book a call with Emma privately to discuss your particular circumstances so I can help you decide if this programme can help you. If this programme isn’t right for you now, I will recommend alternative resources.
What if I am unhappy with the programme?
If you are genuinely unhappy with your decision to join Get Divorce-Ready™, please contact us within 14 days of payment. Please note that if you have received workbooks and joined any of the group calls (or joined the Absolute Academy) we will not be able to offer a refund. Please note that deductions may be made if you have signed up and received any free joining incentives (such as How to Be a Lady Who Leaves book, 30 Day Divorce Cards). If you choose to cancel you will no longer have access to any of the programme resources.
Is this course for women only, or can men join too?
This course is currently only for women. In the meantime, there are other ways you can work with me simply click here.
I'm not in England or Wales, can I join this programme?
It depends. I would recommend that you contact me directly to discuss your particular circumstances so that I can advise you. This programme has been designed specifically about the divorce process in England and Wales. You can get divorced under the jurisdiction of England and Wales if you are either domiciled in the UK but live abroad or you are habitually resident but live abroad. However, if you are Scottish, and live in Scotland the programme probably isn’t for you.
How much is a Clarity Day with Emma?
A Clarity Day with Emma is a full day of 1:1 Coaching plus a written plan. The cost is £2000.
